At GoYourTrip, we understand that travel plans can change due to unforeseen circumstances. Our Refund & Cancellation Policy is designed to be transparent and fair while balancing commitments to airlines, hotels, transport providers, and other travel partners.
Please read the following policy carefully before making a booking.
- Short-Haul Trips
Cancellation More Than 45 Days Before Departure
- 10% of the total land package cost will be deducted as cancellation charges.
Cancellation Between 45 and 25 Days Before Departure
- 25% of the total land package cost will be deducted as cancellation charges.
Cancellation Within 25 Days of Departure
- 100% of the land package cost is non-refundable.
Additional Conditions
- Services booked under non-refundable rates (such as hotels, permits, transfers, or activities) will remain non-refundable regardless of the cancellation date.
- Applicable GST, payment gateway charges, banking fees, and other transaction costs may be deducted from the refundable amount.
- Eligible refunds are generally processed within 3 to 21 working days, depending on supplier processing timelines.
- Long-Haul Trips
Cancellation More Than 45 Days Before Departure
- 10% of the total land package cost; and
- Airline cancellation charges as per the respective airline's fare rules.
Cancellation Between 45 and 25 Days Before Departure
- 25% of the total land package cost; and
- Applicable airline cancellation charges.
Cancellation Within 25 Days of Departure
- 100% of the land package cost is non-refundable.
- Flight refunds, if applicable, will be processed strictly in accordance with the airline's fare conditions.
Additional Conditions
- Flights booked with Low-Cost Carriers (LCCs), including but not limited to AirAsia, VietJet, Scoot, Batik Air, and similar airlines, are generally non-refundable and non-changeable.
- Flights booked with Full-Service Carriers (FSCs) are subject to the airline's own cancellation and refund policies.
- Visa fees, travel insurance premiums, taxes, permits, and other government charges are non-refundable.
- Any travel credits issued, where applicable, will remain valid for 12 months from the date of issue, are non-transferable unless otherwise approved by GoYourTrip, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
- GST, payment gateway charges, and applicable service fees will be deducted from any eligible refund.
- Peak Season & Special Event Bookings
Bookings made during peak travel periods, festivals, long weekends, school holidays, Christmas, New Year, exhibitions, sporting events, or other special occasions may be subject to stricter payment and cancellation terms.
Any such conditions will be communicated at the time of booking and will override the standard cancellation policy where applicable.
- General Refund Conditions
Please note the following important conditions:
- The initial booking or token amount is strictly non-refundable under all circumstances.
- No refund will be provided if travel is cancelled or denied due to invalid, expired, incomplete, or missing travel documents, including passports, visas, permits, or government approvals.
- Refunds for prepaid services that could not be operated due to supplier-related reasons will be processed after confirmation from the respective service provider and are generally completed within 30 days.
- Complimentary services, promotional offers, and free inclusions do not carry any refund value.
- All refund requests must be submitted by the lead traveler or the individual who made the original booking.
- Refund Processing
Where a refund is applicable:
- Refunds are normally processed to the original payment method.
- If the original payment method is unavailable, refunds may be made through bank transfer after verification.
- Processing time depends on airlines, hotels, banks, payment gateways, and other travel partners and may vary accordingly.
